Hello Actors!

Here's information on "Sam and Leah". Note: Everyone gets paid!

The Characters:

Leah, about 24-28, cocaine addict, alcoholic, prostitute. Slim and attractive. About 5-3 to
5-7. This is the biggest role. Brief, partial nudity required, see note below.

Sam, 42-49, recovering alcoholic, former baseball pitcher, physically fit. 5-10 to about 6-1.
Handsome.

Pamela, 38-44, recovering alcoholic, she becomes Sam's girlfriend. About 5-3 to 5-8. They
meet at AA.

Orlando, 30's, drug dealer, and Leah's abusive boyfriend.

Peter, 30's, Orlando's friend, he helps Orlando with drug deliveries sometimes. Minor role.

Mr. Robinson, 50's, apartment manager, he helps Leah. Smaller but very important role.

Tom, 25-30, minor role, he becomes Leah's boyfriend. They meet at AA.

Little Leah, about 6, and her parents, about 27 to 32.

The exact ages are not carved in stone.

There are also several bit parts, with 1 to 4 lines.

This movie will help create empathy and understanding for alcoholics, addicts, battered
women, and prostitutes, and inspire some such to get help. It will help make the world just a
little bit better. And you can be part of it.

If you are interested in auditioning for a role, please mail your headshot and resume to the
address below. You can also drop it off if you like, but call first to make sure I am here, as
the mail boxes are in the lobby and you won't have access. All auditions will be at the
address below. If you are called in for an audition, the scene will be emailed to you.
Sometimes I email the script to actors beforehand, if they impress me in some way. This is
not a regular movie, and I am not looking for regular actors.

My address: 1898 Balsam St Apt 4, V6K 3M4. Buzzer 4, corner of 3rd and Balsam. In
Kitsilano, sort of behind Safeway on 4th. Do not park at Safeway or you will get a ticket! I
have a "filmmaker friendly" place.... quite spacious, and easy to shoot in. I have done lots of
shooting here. About half the movie will be shot here.

A bit more about the script. Everyone doesn't like it of
course. By comparison, over half the people who read the
script to Cam Girl didn't like it. And it won a Platinum
Award and a Best Actress Award. Sam and Leah is similar.
The fact is a lot of people don't really understand my work.
Some suggest changes to make it "flow" better, or to make
it "smoother". (Some were actors, and such changes would
make it easier to act) But I don't write to give actors easy
work, or to fit a template. I really do know my characters,
so if you are an actor, you just have to trust me. The same
goes for any potential producer, and all the crew. Some
other comments about Sam and Leah include.... "It's a story
that has to be told...."..... and...."It's brilliant...."...... It will
be a remarkable movie, captivating and intriguing, right
from the start. I will work hard enough to have it win
awards and I am seeking actors who will also work hard
enough to win awards. This movie will launch careers. Is it
being arrogant to say this movie will win awards? Not
really. It's about believing in yourself. If you don't believe
you will be successful at something, well, you won't.

PS: Extra note if you want to play "Leah". In the movie, there are two scenes with brief,
partial nudity (topless). The actress who gets the lead role, will be paid several thousand
dollars more than her male lead. The scenes are brief, and essential to the story. You will
be on a closed set with a very small crew, and you will be treated with dignity and respect.
The amount of nudity will be similar to that in CAM GIRL, which you can view by going to
a link on bushpilotproductions.com/camgirl.htm site. If you are not OK with this, please do
not apply. I strongly suggest you watch CAM GIRL to help you decide.

Liza Moser, Producer, and Sarah Sands with
her Best Actress Award. For Cam Girl.

Hi Steve,

"Wow! I just read the script. Quite honestly, I was prepared to be disappointed because my
standards are extremely high, but, my God, I loved it! I am very, very impressed! It's a poignant
story and very real. There is so much quiet intensity woven into it. A good actor could do so
much with that!"
